SOAE Intern

Job/Task Description:
- Run and maintain nightly, weekly and final validation for release cycle for both XMLCore and Service Platform projects
- Design the QA framework and test scenarios for the product releases
- Developing and maintain the test infrastructure to ensure the product quality
- Report and analyze the failures, to achieve a successful product launch
- Able to develop test cases in Java and C++ for projects, while test scenarios are designed by our engineers or super testers.
Technical Qualifications:
- The candidate should possess a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with familiarity with C and/or C++ and common script languages. Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with C/C++, Java, and Linux shell programming.
- Familiarity with networking programming using socket API.
- Knowledge of Perl programming and web application development (java script) would be an added advantage.
- Experience with middleware software used in managed runtime frameworks would be an added advantage
- Knowledge on hardware architecture and compiler, especially on Intel architecture would be an added advantage
- Good English communication skills

Job Description:
We will provide solid foundation for current and future Intel binary translation products. Working in a software product development/validation team, the candidate would be responsible for architecting and developing new dynamic binary translation/compilation/virtual machine technologies, performing validations and ensuring the software quality. Challenging and interesting work. Highly motivated group. Means every member has the ability to directly affect product success and innovate future technologies.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have excellent development and debugging skills (low level language like C, C++ and assembly preferred), and proven track record of solving complex technical problems and writing technical design documents. One of one or more of the following area is highly preferred: compiler technology especially performance tuning and optimization, debugging and optimization in multi-threading environment, OS internals, computer architecture on Intel processor (IA-32 or Itanium) and virtual machines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and working effectively in a team environment are a must. A PhD/MS/BS degree in Computer Science, related field or the equivalent in education and experience is required.
